FAB - The Many Faces Of Romance - Part The Second

It's March, and you know what that means, right? Two new FAB picks. BUT, as dee mentioned yesterday, we're doing things a little different this month, because both of our FAB picks have books being released tomorrow, March 6th. So, we're doubling up. What exactly does that mean? Well, for one, it means two FABulous books are hitting shelves, and for two, it means you're getting a chance to win an even bigger prize! But, I'll get to that in a minute. First, let me introduce you to my find this month.

Alyssa Day , by her own admission, is the "dark and tortured alter ego," of Alesia Holliday, author of one of my favorite books. So imagine how happy I was to find out that Alyssa would be penning a Paranormal Romance series! I've even posted about it here. I LOVE me some paranormal! But dear lovelies, this isn't your average paranormal!

ATLANTIS RISING
(BCC)

Eleven thousand years ago, before the seas swallowed the Atlantaens, Poseidon assigned a few chosen warriors to act as sentinels for humans in the new world. There was only one rule-desiring them was forbidden. But rules were made to be broken…

When she calls…
Riley Dawson is more than a dedicated Virginia Beach social worker. She's blessed with a mind link that only Atlantaens have been able to access for thousands of years. Being an "empath" may explain her wistful connection to the roiling waves of the ocean, the sanctuary it provides, and the sexual urges that seem to emanate from fathoms below…

He will come.
Conlan, the High Prince of Atlantis, has surfaced on a mission to retrieve Poseidon's stolen Trident. Yet something else has possessed Conlan: the intimate emotions-and desires-of a human. Irresistibly drawn to the uncanny beauty, Conlan soon shares more than his mind. But in the midst of a battle to reclaim Poseidon's power, how long can a forbidden love last between two different souls from two different worlds?

While this BCC is actually awesome, what it doesn't tell you is that ATLANTIS RISING is so much more than an empath and an Atlantaen warrior. With vampires, were's, gods, and goddesses, AR thrusts Day onto the Paranormal Romance scene with such force, fans of the genre will be begging for more. NOW!

In fact, AR is already turning heads like you wouldn't believe. Romantic Times BOOK reviews, featured it on the cover of their March issue, and gave it a Four Star HOT, review!

But AR is so much more than a great Paranormal. With the romance between Conlan and Riley heating up the pages, Day will have every Romance reader grabbing for a chance to read the wonderful story of two souls finding in each other the strength that can only come from true love.

Now, like I said, with us running the FAB week together, you have the chance to win some great things! dee outlines the prize for her FAB pick in this post, and add to that, and autographed ATLANTIS RISING tote bag, and a $30 gift card to the bookseller of your choice, and this is one FABulous prize.

All you have to do to be entered to win, is tell people about the book! Just like last month, post the BCC and picture of ATLANTIS RISING on your blog, link it to us here at http://deeanddeedish.blogspot.com/ , bonus entries if you send people over that comment and/or enter, that easy!

To read more about Alyssa and the Warriors, you can visit her web-site by clicking here, her MySpace page by clicking here, and her blog by clicking here. And the lovely and FAB-ulous Laura Florand posted an interview with Alyssa here.

Take Care

I can't wait to get my hands on this book. I've been waiting since the moment Alyssa said she was writing it. Two LC chicks in one Romance Week? I love Lani. She's looking for stalkers, did you sign up Dee?

LOL Sheryl, I stalk many, admit to none ;) I like living with my husband and kids, and if the news of my fiendishness got out, they'd lock me up!

Do I get to play in this one, too? :) I am just kidding, I will NOT be greedy. I will just get myself to the bookstore. Besides I am mostly just greedy for signed copies and chocolate; otherwise I am quite restrained, honest.

Alesia/Alyssa Day cracked everyone up when she was on my blog the other day. I got emails about how fascinating she sounded. Which she is!

I'm so thrilled to be here! It's going to be a fun week!

sheryl,
Of COURSE I signed up to be Lani's stalker. I mean, I trekked all the way to Maryland to see her, and then sat through lunch with her, and then insisted on a big ol hug before she could leave. If that's not stalk-worthy, then I'll juthave to crank it up a notch.

The rest of you... we need some links here. Where are you posting about these two FAB-ulous autors? Don't be shy, go forth and tell everyone you know. Look over on my personal blog deeceetalks.blogspot.com and see that I already did it for Lani, and Alyssa's will be up soon. Now it's YOUR turn.
Ahem. So get out of here and post already.

Yes, dee is my official stalker, but I'm still taking applications. While dee stalks me in person - and how lovely it is - I'm still looking for a rabid fanbase to defend me around in the internet IN ALL CAPS. So... there's still room for everyone!

And YAY for Alesia/Alyssa's release day!!! I hope you're all rushing out to your bookstores to get her on a list! Today's the day! Hurry!
